What we cover, and what we don't

Jurisdiction files carry the deadlines and statutes for one place. They are thin, and pretending otherwise would be the opposite of the point.

If your state is missing The method still works — the steps are the same everywhere. What changes is the deadlines and the statute names, and the guides tell the assistant to research and verify those with you against primary sources. Never take a deadline from this site, or any site, without checking it yourself.

Help make it better

If you practise law One file, about 40 minutes: confirm four facts for your state and cite them. No git needed. Anything else Corrections, anonymised outcomes, press. A human reads it — but slowly, and there is no guaranteed reply.
Not legal advice Nothing here is advice about your situation, and nobody here is your lawyer. Deadlines and rights vary by state. When the stakes are high, bring what you build to a lawyer — your state bar runs a referral service, and lawhelp.org lists free and low-cost help.
